Due to the numerous weather-related closures we have had this winter, the board of education has approved March 17th , which was listed on the school calendar as an OS day to become a regular instructional day. Students and staff will follow the normal school schedule on that day. School will be in session on March 17.

**ATTENTION 6th GRADE PARENTS**
Before the start of your child’s 7th grade school year, you must provide a copy of a shot record that documents a Meningococcal and Tdap shot given after their 10th birthday to the school nurse. Students who do not provide proof of this vaccine will not be allowed to start their 7th grade school year. We are also requesting a recent copy of a health check physical and dental exam. Blank dental and health forms are located on the Mineral County School’s website under the nurse tab. Please do not wait until the last minute! You may deliver a copy of your child’s Meningococcal and Tdap vaccine, completed dental and health exam to the school or request that your child’s physician fax a copy to 304-726-4626. Thank you!

Tonight is our Holiday Concert at Frankfort Middle School! Doors open at 6:15, and the concert starts at 7:00. Our students have worked very hard, in both Band and Chorus, so please come out and show them your support! Thank you.
