Mineral County Schools’ Board of Education has established the full week of September 14 –18, 2026, be recognized as “Celebrate Freedom Week.” In addition, September 17, is set to recognize “Constitution Day.” The purpose of “Celebrate Freedom Week” and “Constitution Day” is to educate the students of Mineral County Schools about the sacrifices made for freedom in the founding of this country and the values on which this country was founded.
