This is a message from Nurse Kara. Parents, this is a reminder that at the start of the 2024/25 school year, students entering 7th grade and 12th grade will have shot requirements that must be met before they may enter school. A recent dental and physical examination is also requested. The physical and dental exam must be completed less than 12 months prior to the start of school. If you have not yet done so, please make an appointment with your child’s health care provider and dentist to make sure they have completed the immunization, physical and dental requirements and then provide immunization records, dental exams and health physicals to the school. The Holy Cross after school program is canceled until further notice due to health and staff reasons. Thank you.
Tomorrow, Friday, February 2nd, all 8th grade students will visit Mineral County Technical Center. They will leave Frankfort Middle at 8:15 am and will return by 11:15 am. If you have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, please send a note so we can keep your child at the school.
There will be an Interest / Planning meeting for an end of the year 8th grade activity night. The meeting will be Friday, February 9th at 6:30 pm in the Frankfort Middle School cafeteria. This meeting is for any parent / guardian interested in helping plan, secure materials, or chaperone. Thank you!

***Band / Chorus Concert***
Frankfort Middle School will hold it's Winter Band / Chorus Concert on Wednesday, December 20th at 7 pm. We hope to see you there!
November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. Tuesday, November 14th is National Diabetes Day, so we are asking staff and students to wear blue in support of diabetes research. If you are interested in donating to the cause, please go to JDRF.org . Thank you!

FMS 2023 Food Drive
Good evening. This is a very important message from Frankfort Middle School. Our after school program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays will now end at 5:00 pm from this point forward. Please make sure someone is at Frankfort Middle School to pick up your child no later than 5:00 pm. Also there will be no after school program on Thursday, October 26th because of Parent / Teacher Conferences. Thank you. Have a great evening.
Picture make-up day will be Tuesday, October 24th. If your student needs to have their picture taken, please have them get a picture envelope from the Library or the Office.
