Job Vacancy Applications are required for each posted position for which you are applying. Applications will only be accepted in response to an active posting.
In response to a Job Vacancy Posting please apply as follows using the correct application for the position type for which your are applying:
Outdoor School
Current Employees: Mineral County Schools employees may apply by completing an Outdoor School Staff Application Form.
Applicants who are not current employees including substitutes may apply by submitting:
Administrative Opportunities
Current Employees: Mineral County Schools employees may apply by completing an Administrative Job Vacancy Form.
Administrative Applicants, who are not current employees including substitute teachers may apply by submitting:
a resume
three written letters of reference dated within the last two years.
Note: The Job Vacancy Form is required for each posted position for which you are applying.
You will only need to submit one set of the professional application, resume, and letters with each posting.
Professional Opportunities
Current Employees: Mineral County Schools employees may apply by completing a Professional Job Vacancy Form.
Professional Applicants, who are not current employees including substitute teachers may apply by submitting:

Substitute Teachers
Mineral County will only accept applications in response to a job posting. Applicants holding a West Virginia professional certificate may apply by submitting:

Note: Applicants with an Associate’s degree or higher unrelated to education must complete a WVDE approved training. Substitute Service Personnel
Mineral County Schools will only accept application in response to a job posting.

Note: As part of the employment process and if required for the classification, an applicant must successfully pass a state mandated test. To assist with this, Mineral County Schools will invite screened applicants to an orientation. Applicants that pass the test will be screened, interviewed, and fingerprinted. For some classifications, additional trainings and performance assessments will be required.
