The Mineral County Head Start program, in existence for over 50 years, is blended with the county school system’s universal Pre-K program. During the 2024-2025 program year, this successful collaboration provided fourteen Pre-K Head Start classrooms, two preschool special needs classrooms, and one childcare partnership Pre-K room throughout Mineral County.
