Mineral County Schools Provides Meals to Children During the Summer
Mineral County Schools announces their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.
Breakfast and Lunch is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.
Meals will be served at the following sites:
Keyser Primary School, 1123 Harley O Staggers Drive, Keyser, WV 26726
Breakfast 8:00am-9:00am, lunch 11:00am-12:00pm
Keyser High School, 328 One Tornado Way, Keyser, WV 26726
Breakfast 8:00am -8:30 am, lunch 11:00 am – 11:30 am
Frankfort Middle School, 356 Golden Drive, Ridgeley, WV 26753
Breakfast 8:00am-9:00am, lunch 11:00am-12:00pm
Frankfort High School, 393 Falcon Way, Ridgeley, WV 26753
Breakfast 8:00am -8:30 am, lunch 11:00 am – 11:30 am
Elk Garden Primary School, 86 Elk Garden Highway, Elk Garden, WV 26717
Pick up every Monday from 11:00 am-Noon, consists of 5 breakfast and 5 lunches.
Meals will be provided Monday through Friday starting June 17, 2024, and ending on July 26, 2024. Non-congregate meals, 5 breakfast and 5 lunches can be picked up every Monday at Elk Garden Primary from 11:00 am until Noon. We will be closed on June 19th in observance of Juneteenth, June 20th in observance of WV Day and July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months. Remember, Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Vacation!
